Vitor Bruno has revealed a personal link with Paulo Fonseca ahead of Anderlecht’s Europa League fixture against Lyon on Wednesday at 21:00, the first matchday of the competition’s league phase. His father, Vitor Manuel, coached Fonseca at Belenenses in the 1990s.

According to L'Équipe, the coaches will face each other in the dugout for the first time, although their paths crossed in 1996-1997.
