According to ExpressAndStar.com, former Wolves boss Vitor Pereira is reportedly set to leave Nottingham Forest.

The 57-year-old was appointed at the City Ground in February, his first role since being dismissed at Molineux last November.

He won eight of 20 fixtures to guide Forest to Premier League survival, finishing 16th, five points clear of relegation.

Pereira also oversaw a Europa League semi-final run. Despite winning the first leg against Villa, Forest were beaten 4-1 on aggregate.

It is claimed there has been "movement" behind the scenes between Forest, owned by Evangelos Marinakis, and Pereira, and that his head coach role is not likely to continue into the new season.

His Wolves appointment in December 2024 was his 14th job in management and ended the following November. He delivered an excellent run, transforming fortunes in his first season, but a poor final month was repeated at the start of 2025/26.
