Vitória SC lift the League Cup 🏆 but lose two players ahead of Porto clash

João Mendes and Nélson Oliveira will miss the match between Vitória SC and FC Porto in the next round of the Primeira Liga. The two footballers from the Guimarães club were sent off in the final moments of the game against Braga, in the League Cup, and will have to serve a one-match suspension.

João Mendes received his second yellow card in the 90+7th minute after committing a penalty, which resulted in his expulsion. Shortly after, Nélson Oliveira was shown a straight red card for provoking Braga supporters, following Rodrigo Zalazar’s missed penalty.
