RCD Mallorca star Jan Virgili, who was allowed to depart La Liga rivals Barcelona over the summer, on Friday showcased his unquestionable talents once more.
This came courtesy of a moment of magic on the international front.
La Rojita are currently locked in action, in a European Championship qualifying meeting with minnows San Marino.
Winger Virgili was for his part afforded a start in the fixture, his debut with Spain’s U21s. And the youngster wasted little time in making an impact…
Cutting in from his berth on the left flank, Virgili bent a sumptuous dipping effort into the far top corner, to open the game’s scoring:
Attacker Virgili, for those not familiar with his name, made the call to depart Barcelona this past summer, in search of more consistent senior game time.
And he has since found as much on the books of Mallorca, with a pair of assists to his name across seven La Liga appearances thus far this season.
