Prior to Maradona’s arrival, Dorados had scored just twice in seven matches and sat at the bottom of Mexico’s second division.
Since his hire in mid-September, Dorados have won two of their three league matches, including a gritty 2-0 victory against Leones Negros over the weekend.
With the score at 0-0, Dorados went down to 10-men when Juan Tepezano was sent off in the 82nd minute.
It didn’t matter, as the home side scored twice in stoppage time for a famous victory that had Maradona shaking his…everything with his players in the locker room.
What a special guy. Never change Diego.
