Watford sign Ipswich Town full-back Neville on loan | OneFootball

Watford have completed the signing of Ipswich Town full-back Grace Neville on a season-long loan deal.

The Golden Girls announced news of the deal via a post on their official club website this afternoon.

The 26-year-old defender arrives at Vicarage Road with a wealth of Barclays WSL2 experience under her belt.

Neville started her senior career on the books of former Barclays WSL2 side Millwall Lionesses before transferring over to London City Lionesses upon the club’s formation in summer 2019. The defender spent six years with The Pride, helping the club to win the Barclays WSL2 title, along with a long-awaited promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League in 2024/2025.

After leaving London City Lionesses last summer, Neville joined newly-promoted Ipswich Town on a free transfer. She made 14 appearances for The Tractor Girls in Barclays WSL2 last season. Neville helped Ipswich Town to secure their Barclays WSL2 status for a second season.

On the international stage, Neville played for England in her youth before switching her allegiance to New Zealand. She has been capped by The Ford Football Ferns on 14 occasions at senior level. She made her debut for the nation in early 2023.

Neville is Watford’s 13th signing of the summer transfer window.
