Watford have announced the signing of free agent Krépin Diatta on a one-year deal.
The Senegal international has been out of contract after a five-and-half year stint with Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, who joined from Club Brugge midway through the 2020/21 campaign. In total, Diatta played 143 times for Monaco, scoring eight goals and making eight assists.

Now the versatile defender has strengthened the Hornets' right flank and has been handed the number 15 shirt.
"I am very happy to join the team," Diatta said on his arrival. "After talking with the people here, the project was very clear in my head.
"Watford is a top club that were in the Premier League not too long ago, and I think this is the place they should be."
Diatta could potentially make his Watford debut on October 10th when Burnley visit Vicarage Road in the Championship.
