The 21-year-old, who has a spell in the youth set-ups at Espanyol and Barcelona at the start of his career, rose through Levante’s ranks before enjoying a breakthrough campaign last season.

The right winger accumulated 1,143 minutes across 21 La Liga appearances, catching the eye with his performances for Levante.

Tunde’s ability to operate from either flank also gives him another added quality for managers, adding to his appeal.

Despite having three years left on his Levante contract, the Spaniard could now be on the move before the window shuts, with West Brom having identified his potential.

According to Spanish journalist Xavi Jorquera, West Brom are set to sign Tunde after reaching an agreement with Levante over the deal.

The Baggies will pay more than €4m upfront, with a further €1.5m available in add-ons.

As such, the total package means Levante ‘could end up receiving nearly’ €6m.

Levante will also retain around 25 per cent of any future sale, with the agreement for Tunde including ‘a small part of his rights’.

Should everything fall into place, West Brom could confirm the Spaniard’s arrival shortly, with the deal now seemingly at a closing stage.

James Morrison’s side have already made an impressive start to their Championship campaign, taking maximum points from their opening two outings, and Tunde’s arrival could add another spark to their early momentum.

Meanwhile, there could also be movement out wide at the Hawthorns, with Derby County showing interest in Mikey Johnston.

West Brom already saw another winger depart earlier this summer, with Jed Wallace moving on to Bristol City.
