West Brom’s Cole Deeming to sign new deal before Hartlepool loan

Cole Deeming is to sign a contract extension at West Brom before joining Hartlepool United on loan until January.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the 18-year-old midfielder will return to the National League to continue his senior development.

Deeming has already had spells with Truro City in the National League and with League Two side Cheltenham Town last season.

Head coach James Morrison has encouraged his youngsters to pursue National League loans after EFL moves did not materialise during the summer window.

The National League is not restricted by the transfer window, with clubs able to sign players until the end of March.
