WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Hammers this morning.
The 26-year-old joined West Ham United from Japanese SOMPO WE League club Tokyo Verdy Beleza back in summer 2023. The forward has made 55 appearances for the East Londoners in all competitions in which she has scored 13 goals. Ueki has made a significant contribution towards the continued growth of West Ham United under manager Rehanne Skinner.
Ueki has unfinished business with West Ham United and the club have moved to retain her services for an additional year. The player was already under contract until next summer, so she will now remain a Hammer until 2027.
After signing her new deal, Ueki said “I’m happy to continue my journey with West Ham.
“It’s unbelievable to reflect on my time at the Club over the last couple of years – it’s been so special. I can’t believe how well everything has gone for me and how much I’ve enjoyed it.
“I love being here. London is my second home and West Ham is my second family. Everyone is so kind to me and my teammates have helped me a lot.
“Rehanne has also taught me so much and as a player, I have improved a lot under her. I feel proud to play for Rehanne and for this Club.
“Our fans are so important to me and for us as a team too. Every game they help us, both home and away. Our home record last season was great and I can’t wait for our first home game of the season on Friday. I want to celebrate this news with the fans and play well to help the team get a positive result against Arsenal.”
West Ham United’s season continues with a fixture against Arsenal at The Chigwell Construction Stadium on Friday evening.
