Olympique de Marseille’s focus is still firmly on ensuring that players leave the club, however, as the Ligue 1 season approaches, they are also working on incomings, namely Jean-Clair Todibo (26), as per a report from Foot Mercato.

The former Barcelona and OGC Nice defender is looking to leave West Ham United this summer, following the club’s relegation to the EFL Championship. Talks between the Hammers and OM are ongoing, Foot Mercato understands. Given Les Phocéens’ limited means, the discussions are regarding a loan move; specifically, there are talks about how much of the Frenchman’s salary Marseille would pay. The player himself, the publication adds, is willing to make an effort – financially speaking – to get a deal over the line and facilitate an agreement between the two clubs.

Whilst these talks are ongoing, the focus, however, remains on departures, which is a prerequisite to any arrivals at the Vélodrome between now and the end of the transfer window.
