The WSL season is now in full swing but there is already an international break creeping up on women’s football.
Europe’s top leagues will break from domestic football for the first time this season later in October.
There is just one weekend of fixtures coming up before the first international break of this season.
After the upcoming matchday 6, Europe will take a break for two weeks as players head off to international duty.
The October international break will take place between the 17th-25th of October.
There is one round of Champions League fixtures that takes place before the break on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Lionesses will play two friendlies during the break as part of their homecoming tour following the Euros success in summer.

Both of England’s games will be shown live and free on ITV.
Following their two October friendlies, England will complete the Homecoming Tour with fixtures against Ghana and China at the end of November.
Sarina Wiegman will release her England squad just before the friendlies.
The 23-player team will be confirmed at 11am on October 14th.
