Wrexham stunned Queens Park Rangers 3-2 with two stoppage-time strikes at Loftus Road, climbing from 10th to sixth in the Championship.

Harvey Vale fired the hosts ahead in the sixth minute. After the restart, Callum Doyle levelled (54.).

Steve Cook restored the lead with a glancing header from a corner (80.). Phil Parkinson turned to his bench, with Josh Windass and Oliver Rathbone introduced as the visitors chased a response.

Amadou Mbengue received a second yellow and was sent off (90.). Windass swept in the equaliser in the third minute of second half stoppage time. Moments later, Rathbone rifled the winner into the top left in the fourth minute of second half stoppage time from Windass's pass.

Joe Walsh had kept the hosts in front with late stops from Windass, but the visitors' pressure finally told.

Wrexham were efficient, hitting seven shots on target from 11 attempts. Queens Park Rangers mustered 13 attempts and won seven corners.

Queens Park Rangers host Coventry City next in the Championship. Wrexham visit Sheffield Wednesday next.
