With changes, Iván Delfino readies XI for Estudiantes de Caseros | OneFootball

Colón continues fine-tuning the details for a match that could have a direct impact on how they finish the championship. Iván Delfino once again shuffled a few pieces this Thursday during another training session ahead of Saturday’s clash against Estudiantes de Buenos Aires, starting at 3 p.m. at the Brigadier López, for Matchday 32 of Primera Nacional’s Zone A.

As in the previous training session, Nicolás Thaller appeared in the starting defense, taking the spot left vacant by Pier Barrios, who is still dealing with a muscle issue and is all but ruled out.

But the main news of the day came in midfield. Darío Sarmiento dropped out of the lineup and was replaced by Ignacio Antonio, as Delfino tested a setup featuring three more centrally oriented midfielders. The change makes it clear that the coach’s main doubt for the match lies on the right side of the attack.

The likely starting eleven: Tomás Giménez; Mauro Peinipil, Nicolás Thaller, Federico Rasmussen and Facundo Castet; Ignacio Antonio, Federico Lértora and Agustín Toledo; Julián Marcioni, Alan Bonansea and Ignacio Lago.
