According to BuLi News, Dzenan Pejcinovic is close to joining VfB Stuttgart from VfL Wolfsburg, though Sky Sports have not confirmed full agreement.

Named in Wolfsburg’s squad for the 2. Bundesliga opener, he stayed on the bench in the 0-0 draw with Kaiserslautern. After the match, sporting director Dieter Hecking, the club’s former coach, said they had agreed a transfer with a club, without naming Stuttgart.

Kicker reports the clubs have reached full agreement on a €25 million fee.

Sky Sports say one key detail still needs to be negotiated between the clubs despite Hecking’s statement, while the deal remains at an advanced stage.

Wolfsburg rejected multiple offers for the Germany U21 striker, and the player turned down FC Porto’s approach. The 21-year-old wants to join Stuttgart this summer.
