With the January window days away, Wolves are assessing Bowie as a possible successor to Jorgen Strand Larsen, with a £5m fee mooted.

According to Molineux.news, the forward is with an Edinburgh-based club and fits their search for a centre forward within Britain. He is viewed as a long-term option who could help lift them out of the Championship next season.

Strand Larsen has struggled to impress this season and his future is uncertain, with numerous Premier League clubs showing interest.

Wolves may look to cash in on the Norwegian this month and want a replacement ready to step in.

Incomings are expected to dominate, though departures may be needed to free space, with two senior players at risk. With relegation likely, exits could also be considered to protect value.
