Wolves are nearing a deal to sign Southampton striker Adam Armstrong.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, The Old Gold aim to bolster their attack on deadline day, with Jorgen Strand Larsen poised to depart. A fee of £seven million plus £two million in add-ons has been agreed, and Armstrong is due to have his Wolves medical on Monday.
Armstrong joined hometown club Newcastle at nine. He made his senior debut as a late substitute in a 1-0 defeat at Fulham aged 17 in March 2014.
He played 19 times for Newcastle over the next 18 months before moving on loan to Coventry City.
In League One with the Sky Blues, he scored 20 in 40 and was named in the PFA League One Team of the Year in 2015-16.
Less prolific spells at Barnsley and Bolton Wanderers followed, before he eventually settled at Blackburn Rovers.
