Sasa Kaladzjic’s Wolves exit is viewed as increasingly unlikely this summer. The striker turns 29 next week and has one year left on his deal, with a 12-month option.
Talksport claims Aston Villa plan a move for West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen this summer. The 29-year-old recorded 11 goals and 12 assists in all competitions as the Irons were relegated after 14 seasons. Any switch is said to hinge on Unai Emery reinforcing his wide options.
Kaladzjic has had two loans, including last season at LASK in Austria. Despite a post-relegation pay cut, any exit is said to mean a further wage drop. Injury-hit since a £15 million move from Stuttgart in 2022, he could first be assessed by new boss Cesar Peixoto.
Wolves defender Ladislav Krejci has been linked again with Leeds. The 27-year-old signed permanently this summer for £26 million after an impressive loan, though Premier League interest remains.
Leeds are seeking a replacement for Pascal Struijk, who is joining Brighton, and reportedly have Krejci among options with free agent Danilho Doekhi and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Nico Elvedi.
June 30 is when contracts expire for players out of deal, who become free agents after today. At West Brom, attackers Karlan Grant and Josh Maja are currently set to leave The Hawthorns.
Albion said in May that Maja had been offered new terms and that talks with Grant were ongoing. Both are weighing options after June arrivals up front, and from Tuesday will no longer be attached to their previous deals. Grant and Maja have been at Albion for six and three years respectively.
