Wolves have been handed a double fitness lift, with Kieran Trippier and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde in contention for Sunday’s visit to Sheffield United.
Neither is expected to start, but both are likely to be on the bench after resuming training, according to ExpressAndStar.com.
Right-back Trippier has been sidelined for nearly a month after a knee injury in the opening Championship match against Blackburn.
Bellegarde has yet to feature this season because of a hamstring issue, though he returned to training last week. Trippier has started training but is not fit to begin, and a decision will be taken on whether he travels and gets minutes, while Bellegarde, in his second week back, could be an option.
There is further encouragement with winger Rafiki Said due back in training next week as he nears recovery from the knee injury sustained in the opening pre-season friendly at Maidenhead.
New signing Bertrand Traore is unlikely to feature as he builds fitness after joining as a free agent earlier this week.
Defender Yerson Mosquera remains out for a few more weeks with an ankle problem.
