Wolves ‘have enquired about’ Jordan Holsgrove, Walsall ‘to hold’ Reece Smith medical | OneFootball

Record reports that Wolves have enquired about Estoril midfielder Jordan Holsgrove, who is priced at three million.

According to journalist Pete O'Rourke, Harrogate winger Reece Smith is having a medical with Walsall, and the report adds he is close to completing a move to Bescot.

Charlton Athletic and German sides Werder Bremen, FC Augsburg and Hamburg have also been linked with Holsgrove. Werder are said to remain in talks. Holsgrove came through Reading’s academy.

The 26-year-old scored once in 35 outings for Estoril last season. His career has included spells at Celta Vigo, Pacos de Ferreira and Olympiacos. He previously played under Cesar Peixoto at Pacos in 2022-23.

Smith missed friendlies against South Shields and Doncaster Rovers, with manager Simon Weaver saying the absence was injury-related. The 24-year-old joined Harrogate in summer 2025 after six years at Maidenhead United, where he scored 23 goals and provided 17 assists in 162 games.

He featured 52 times for relegated Harrogate last term, registering three goals and seven assists.
