Wolves are ‘advancing in negotiations’ for Tondela defender Brayan Medina, who was not part of his side’s latest league game against Academia Coimbra.
Despite their horrific last season in the Premier League, which saw them finish rock bottom, Wolves have so far managed to keep a host of players.
There is the risk though that, with the window still open for another ten days, there could be further departures.
Real Sociedad want Czech Republic centre-back Ladislav Krejci, who is warm to the idea of a potential return to Spain.
The Championship side have already rejected an offer from Real Sociedad, which they deemed ‘too low’.

The 27-year-old left-footed defender’s loan was made permanent this summer, but he may well prefer life in La Liga to the Championship.
Wolves have already set their eyes on a player from the Portuguese second division, in the shape of Tondela’s 24-year-old centre-back Medina.
However, the Old Gold must pay a record fee to get the former Colombia Under-23 defender out of the Auriverdes.
Money, though, is not a headache for Wolves, who are getting close to getting their hands on Medina, according to Portuguese journalist Sebastiao Sousa-Pinto.

The Portuguese second-tier side left him out of their weekend league clash and he is expected to leave them in the coming days.
New Old Gold boss Cesar Peixoto asked the club to bring Medina in, but nothing is finalised between Tondela and Wolves for him yet.
Wolves, though, do not have the luxury to relax as Serie A side Genoa are still in the race for the 24-year-old.
The left-footed centre-back’s current deal runs for four more years at the Auriverdes, but it appears his exit from the Estadio Joao Cardoso is just a matter of time.
Whether the Old Gold will be able to secure their fifth signing in the form of Medina remains to be seen.
