Planning a pre or post-match drink at Wolves? Set on the edge of Wolverhampton city centre, Molineux has 50 pubs within a mile.

With the new Championship season weeks away, home and away fans have plenty of choice. According to ExpressAndStar.com, CAMRA’s website was used to map a one-mile radius from Waterloo Road and to list venues by distance.

The closest is The Leaping Wolf on Waterloo Road at 0.1 miles, followed by Hatherton Arms and the Stile Inn at 0.3.

Around the half-mile mark are city centre staples on and around Lichfield Street, including Hogshead, the Royal London, Bank, Bohemian, Goose in the City, the Posada, Moon Under Water, Wave Bar and the Billy Wright, plus the Lychgate Tavern.

From 0.6 to 0.7 miles sit the Duke of York and Wheatsheaf, then the Clarendon and Combermere Arms in Chapel Ash, alongside Sunbeam, Prince Albert, Perfect Ale, Cask & Keg, the Giffard Arms, George Wallis, Plough and Harrow and North Sun.
