Wolves’ Sasa Kalajdzic attracts OGC Nice interest | OneFootball

OGC Nice are interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Sasa Kalajdzic (29), according to a report from Sky Austria.

Nice confirmed the signing of Elye Wahi on Monday night. However, another recruit is still targeted in this sector of the pitch. Whilst the returning Wahi looks set to be the starter for Olivier Pantaloni’s side, there is a glaring lack of depth in this sector. Kevin Carlos left earlier in the window, whilst on Monday, Terem Moffi also completed a permanent exit from the Ligue 1 club. Victor Orakpo is also touted to leave before the end of the transfer window.

Sky Austria understands that Le Gym are in for Kalajdzic, who spent last season on loan in his native Austria with LASK. The Austria international has struggled to make an impact ever since joining for an €18m fee back in 2022. Since making that move, he has also spent time on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt. At LASK, however, he enjoyed a return to form, scoring seven goals and registering 11 assists; his form earned him a place in Austria’s FIFA World Cup squad.

Venezia, Genoa, Sassuolo, and two unnamed Bundesliga teams are also interested in Kalajdzic.
