Wolves will be desperate to secure their first Premier League win of the season on Sunday when they host a confident Brighton at Molineux.
The hosts are bottom of the table and winless in ten league games. They face a Brighton side that has won on their last four consecutive visits to this ground and are fresh from a superb comeback victory at Chelsea.
Vítor Pereira is facing a defensive headache with Matt Doherty ruled out after wrist surgery and captain Toti a doubt with the flu. Up front, key striker Jorgen Strand Larsen also faces a late fitness test on a knock. Jackson Tchatchoua is expected to deputise at right-back for the hosts.
The visitors are also dealing with injuries, with Joël Veltman joining Adam Webster, Solly March, and Jack Hinshelwood on the sidelines. Star winger Kaoru Mitoma is also a major doubt with a foot injury. However, Danny Welbeck is in line to start after scoring twice off the bench against Chelsea last weekend.
Wolves are in a dreadful run of form, having picked up just one point from their opening six games. They are on the verge of a historically bad home record, having lost their first three at Molineux this season. A 94th-minute equaliser denied them a win against Spurs in their last home game, continuing a trend of dropping points from winning positions.
Brighton have had a mixed but positive start, sitting in the top half after a superb 3-1 comeback win at Chelsea last weekend. They have won more points from losing positions (6) than any other side in the league, showcasing their resilience. Their away form has been strong, with recent wins at Manchester City and Chelsea.
Wolves predicted XI: Johnstone; Tchatchoua, Krejčí, Santiago Bueno, Hugo Bueno; André, João Gomes, Munetsi; Arias, Hwang, Strand Larsen.
Brighton predicted XI: Verbruggen; Wieffer, van Hecke, Dunk, De Cuyper; Baleba, Ayari, Gómez; Minteh, Welbeck, Mitoma.
