Wolves welcome Fulham to Molineux on Sunday afternoon, trying to provide late cheer for their disappointed fans.
Rob Edwards’ side are already relegated but want to avoid finishing bottom of the table. A victory would guarantee them a final-day chance to leapfrog Burnley. However, the hosts have failed to win their final home league match in five consecutive seasons.
They face a Fulham team looking for a historic first-ever league double over them. Wolves have lost their last two Premier League games against the West London side.
The hosts have lost 24 league games this season, a record in their top-flight history. Another defeat would equal their all-time worst club record of 25 losses. They have failed to score in nineteen different top-flight fixtures this term.
Jose Sa has resumed training this week following an ankle injury and remains available for selection. He could reclaim his starting place from Dan Bentley after Wolves shipped three goals against Brighton.
Meanwhile, Ladislav Krejci has returned to action after recovering from a neck issue. Hugo Bueno is also fit despite his half-time withdrawal at the Amex Stadium.
Therefore, Sam Johnstone remains the only definite absentee due to a shoulder problem. However, manager Rob Edwards revealed that his squad are managing a few minor knocks.
Krejci and Rodrigo Gomes could replace Toti Gomes and Pedro Lima in the starting defence. Both dropped players endured a difficult afternoon on the south coast last weekend. Moreover, David Moller Wolfe provides a strong alternative option at left wing-back.
Further forward, Hwang Hee-chan could retain his starting place as the central striker. Alternatively, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde offers more creativity in the final third. In that scenario, Adam Armstrong would lead the line with Bellegarde and Mateus Mane supporting him.
Wolves predicted XI: Bentley; Mosquera, S Bueno, Krejci; R Gomes, Andre, J Gomes, H Bueno; Mane, Bellegarde, Armstrong.
The Premier League match at Molineux kicks off at 15:00 BST on Sunday, 17 May 2026.
UK fans can watch the action live on Sky Sports F1. Streaming is also available via the Sky Go app.
