Mexico host Czechia in their last group match, having already secured their place in the Round of 32 as Group A winners. Czechia took the lead against South Korea and South Africa, but they have only taken a single point so far in the competition.
Hoffenheim trio – Robin Hranáč, Vladimír Coufal, and Adam Hložek – are in Czechia’s starting lineup once again, while Patrik Schick is relegated to the substitute bench after going scoreless in the first two games.
17-year-old Mexican midfielder Gilberto Mora starts for the first time in the World Cup, while 40-year-old iconic goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa remains on the bench as he hopes to feature in his fourth tournament.
