Just two days before the final match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Uganda, scheduled for October 14 at 5pm at Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium in Tizi-Ouzou, the Algerian national team has been hit with a serious setback. Two key players, Baghdad Bounedjah and Youcef Belaïli, picked up injuries during the win over Somalia and did not take part in Saturday’s training session.
