Yan Couto joins Como on loan from Borussia Dortmund | OneFootball

The Italian Champions League participants will pay the 24-year-old’s full salary, easing Dortmund’s wage bill by around €5 million.

The Bundesliga side are expected to receive a loan fee of up to €3 million, and the agreement reportedly contains a purchase option between €20 million and €22 million.

Dortmund spent €25 million to sign the Brazilian from Manchester City, but he has not secured a regular starting place at Signal Iduna Park.

The move gives the right wing-back the chance of consistent minutes and Champions League involvement, and Dortmund hope the Italian spell helps him rediscover form and increase his long-term value.
