Yan Diomandé joins Real Madrid for €125m, club-record signing | OneFootball

Yan Diomandé has joined Real Madrid from RB Leipzig for €125m, a club-record deal. The club said in a statement on Thursday that the Ivorian winger, 19, has agreed a contract to 2033, with a further €15m in bonuses.

His arrival ends a weeks-long saga after extended talks. At one stage he was close to PSG.

Capped 14 times by Ivory Coast with three goals, Diomandé delivered 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 appearances last term.

He spent six months at Leganés early in 2025, then joined Leipzig after they triggered his €20m release clause. He has only one full professional season behind him.

The fee is also a record sale for Leipzig, surpassing Josko Gvardiol’s €90m move to Manchester City in 2023.
