Reds are in market for reinforcements after Slot sacking
Liverpool are in the market for more transfer reinforcements this summer after they sacked Arne Slot over the weekend.
The Dutchman departed Anfield after a fourth-placed finish in the Premier League, to follow up a title win in his debut campaign in the dugout.
Now, the Reds are expected to appoint Andoni Iraola, who will leave Bournemouth this summer, with formal talks to happen this week.
The Merseyside club have been heavily linked with signing RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande, who has lit up the Bundesliga this term.
The 19-year-old Ivorian has scored 12 goals in 33 matches in the German top flight this season.
Now, it is believed that the young winger is close to making a decision on his future, with Liverpool rivalled by Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain for his signature.

Reports in Spain claim that Diomande is leaning towards a move to the Premier League, but Leipzig will demand at least €100million to let the switch go ahead.
The Reds have reportedly promised the youngster a key role in their squad next term - something that Paris cannot offer him with the likes of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue and Bradley Barcola in their ranks.
There is also the possibility that he stays for another season at the Red Bull Arena, having joined Leipzig from Leganes in Spain just a year ago.
Diomande moved to the United States during his childhood, and went on a trial at Scottish giants Rangers back in 2023.
He did not sign for them, and went on to move to Leganes a year later.
Leipzig paid €20m to sign him last summer, and he has gone from strength to strength in Germany, attracting interest from some of the world’s biggest clubs.
