Yuri Alberto handed return timeline at Corinthians, defender could also come back | OneFootball

Corinthians are hopeful Yuri Alberto could be available to face Internacional on 7 October, while Gabriel Paulista may also return.

The striker is in advanced recovery from a rupture of fibrous tissue at the back of his right thigh. He is 28 days into rehab, pain-free and working through transition drills.

The club said in a statement that he is in a physical transition phase and completed partial work with the group on their return to CT Joaquim Grava after four days off. He had already resumed treatment on Wednesday with the other injured players.

Corinthians started preparations during this international break this afternoon. Fernando Diniz’s side will try to halt a run of six straight league defeats when they visit Internacional at Beira-Rio at 19:30 in the 29th round.
