Santos have received confirmation that centre-back Zé Ivaldo is available for Saturday’s Paulistão opener against Novorizontino at Vila Belmiro, kick-off 16:00 Brasília time.
According to Globo.com, his new contract has been registered in the CBF’s BID, meaning he can now be registered for the state championship.

The decision gives head coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda a boost, having ended 2025 with Zé Ivaldo in his starting XI.
The 28-year-old had been on loan and met performance targets that obliged Santos to purchase him from Cruzeiro.
Santos paid 1 million dollars, equivalent to R$ 5.39 million at Thursday’s exchange rate.
