A goal for the history books, the kind that makes you say: "Do you remember that Zielinski volley from a corner?" That's exactly what happened in Verona for Inter's opening goal. Calhanoglu swung in a sharp cross from a corner, finding Piotr Zielinski perfecly positioned at the edge of the box. Boom - a first-time right-footed volley, that slammed under the crossbar. A stunning blend of precision (including in Calhanoglu's flawless delivery) and power. Simply beautiful.

A goal that helped Inter edge past Verona in a hard-fought 1–2 win, sealed later by an own goal. For Zielinski, it was his first Serie A goal since his brace against Juventus a year ago, and remarkably, it marks his eleventh consecutive Serie A season with at least one goal. Only two other players have managed to score in each of the last eleven Serie A campaigns (since 2015/16): Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini.
