The best and worst possible draws for Morocco at the 2026 World Cup

Morocco will head into the next edition of the World Cup as one of the tournament favorites after their sensational 2022 campaign, which saw them finish fourth behind Argentina (world champions), France (runners-up), and Croatia.
The Atlas Lions will discover their group stage opponents on December 5 during the official draw ceremony, which will take place at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
Thanks to their 11th place in the FIFA rankings, Morocco have been placed in Pot 2 alongside Croatia, Colombia, Uruguay, Switzerland, Japan, Senegal, Iran, South Korea, Ecuador, Austria, and Australia.
