There are rumours going around this morning that Chelsea want to sign Real Madrid striker Endrick, as the once highly regarded wonderkid continues to struggle in the Spanish capital.
The Chelsea Chronicle claim that Chelsea are ready to “take a chance” on the £50m kid, who once played at Palmeiras with Estevao before his ill-fated move to Los Blancos.

“The Chelsea Chronicle is told that new Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso has decided that Endrick can leave with the club’s hierarchy open to a loan, although some believe that they should move on from him,” they write.
Which parts of that do we believe? Well, we’re not sure they’ve been “told” anything, they’re likely just surmising that Endrick is welcome to leave on loan because he’s not playing for Madrid. There’s really no reason to keep him and watch his value tumble.
They’ll be keen to loan him out, but we really don’t see Chelsea being in the mix for the Brazilian. That’s just not the sort of signing that fits with the moves we’re making at the moment. If he is available at a bargain price in the summer, there’s a possibility. But a January loan for a raw Brazilian kid who can’t get on the pitch in Spain? No chance.
An alternative move to Lyon, also suggested in the piece, seems much more likely.
Who needs Endrick when you’ve got Shim Mheuka, anyway? The youngster is tearing it up for England’s Under 19s right now, and is surely pressing for a senior loan sooner rather than later. We can’t wait to see how he gets on after taking a step up.
Moises Caicedo is going to play a friendly in Canada with Ecuador, although many fans and pundits would rather that he didn’t.
