Ge.globo reports that Corinthians have accepted São Paulo's terms to loan Alisson, 32, and are close to announcing the move.
Corinthians will pay R$ 1 million up front and R$ 500,000 in the second half of the year, taking the loan fee to R$ 1.5 million. The club will cover the player's full salary during the spell.
A further R$ 1.5 million will be due if Alisson reaches a minimum appearance threshold. An additional payment will apply if he features in a Majestoso.
Corinthians first proposed a player swap, which São Paulo rejected, insisting on R$ 1.5 million for the loan.
After the Paulista draw with Santos at Vila Belmiro on Thursday, Dorival Júnior praised Alisson, recalling his long-standing impression of the player and a positional tweak that suits his attributes. He suggested Alisson could strengthen an area his team need to fill if he hits top condition.
Alisson was a trusted option for Dorival at São Paulo in 2023, when they won the Copa do Brasil and knocked Corinthians out in the semi-finals. Last season he made 52 appearances, scoring once with two assists.
If confirmed, Alisson will be Corinthians' fourth addition of 2026, after Gabriel Paulista, Matheus Pereira and Uruguayan right-back Pedro Milans. The club also have agreements in place for Kaio César of Al-Hilal and goalkeeper João Ricardo of Fortaleza, and are studying Vitinho of Tijuana and Júnior Santos of Atlético-MG.
