Daniel Farke makes one change for Leeds v Chelsea FA Cup semi-final, Perri starts, Stach on bench | OneFootball

Daniel Farke has named his Leeds United side to face Chelsea in today’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, with Lucas Perri in for Karl Darlow as the only change and Anton Stach among the substitutes.

Stach damaged ankle ligaments in the quarter-final win at West Ham and had not trained by Thursday. Farke said he could feature only if he returned within two days, yet he now takes a place on the bench, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.

Although Darlow has recently been first choice, Perri has started every FA Cup tie and Farke had hinted he would continue in goal.

Up front, Lukas Nmecha drops to the bench after starting every FA Cup game so far, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin starting his first match in this season’s competition for Leeds.

Jayden Bogle and Sebastiaan Bornauw were injury doubts after the 2-2 draw at Bournemouth. Bogle took a blow to the foot and was withdrawn at the break, and Bornauw rolled an ankle in the warm-up, but both are available. Bogle starts and Bornauw is among the substitutes.

Joe Rodon and Dan James are also on the bench, while Ilia Gruev is the sole absentee after a meniscus injury in training ended his season this week.

For Chelsea, Joao Pedro starts and Cole Palmer is among the substitutes after late fitness checks.
