Danilo is in talks to end his contract with Juventus and join Napoli on a free transfer, but according to Tuttosport, the Brazilian defender was surprised to be frozen out of the team.
Multiple sources in Italy, including Sky Sport Italia and Tuttosport, claim that the two parties have had many contacts in recent days.

Danilo’s Juventus deal expires in June, but he’s no longer part of Thiago Motta’s plans.
The ex-Italy international dropped Danilo from the Supercoppa squad earlier this month, and the defender isn’t even training with the rest of the first team.
According to Tuttosport, Danilo was surprised by Juventus’ decision to leave him out of the team, forcing him to train separately.
A few days ago, he posted a cryptic Instagram message: “What is heroic in a human being is not belonging to the herd.”
Napoli are waiting for Danilo to terminate his Juventus contract and have already offered the Brazilian a one-and-a-half-year deal.
At the same time, the Bianconeri expect a minimum income from Danilo’s sale in January, so it remains to be seen whether they will soon reach an agreement with their former captain.
