Lens beat Nice 2-0 at Stade Bollaert-Delelis to climb from second to first in Ligue 1, as Nice drop to 13th.

In the 15th minute, Odsonne Edouard glanced in Matthieu Udol's cross to set the tone.

Before the break, Robin Risser kept the lead intact with sharp stops, thwarting Mohamed Ali Cho and Hicham Boudaoui as Les Aiglons pushed.

After the restart, Edouard nodded in another Udol delivery (57.) to seal the points and his brace.
