Flamengo face a 10-day FIFA window before visiting Bragantino in Bragança Paulista on 2 April at 21:30 Brasília time, a period for rest and refinement under Leonardo Jardim.

According to Globo.com, players have two days off, then report on Wednesday at 16:00 at Ninho do Urubu. They train three times, rest Saturday, and work again on Sunday morning. Next week should bring sessions on Monday and Tuesday, then travel on Wednesday.

Seven are on international duty, Léo Pereira and Danilo with Brazil, Carrascal with Colombia, Plata with Ecuador, and Arrascaeta, Varela and De la Cruz with Uruguay. Alex Sandro has been ruled out with a right thigh injury.

The club are weighing up logistics to speed the return of the internationals. Brazil play on Thursday 26 and Tuesday 31, Uruguay and Ecuador on Friday 27 and Tuesday 31, and Colombia on Thursday 26 and Sunday 29. With the match only on 2 April, staff believe there is time to have everyone available.

Emerson Royal said extra training time would be important, given recent congestion has limited chances for Jardim to embed ideas, and he believes the break can help the team progress.

Jardim views the window as a chance to sharpen processes and build fitness for those with fewer minutes. He hopes the internationals return intact and plans two days of rest before preparations intensify for the next game.
