South Africa international Gift Links has been nominated for the Danish Superliga Player Of The Month award for February.

The former Cape Town City star registered two assists and chipped in with a solitary goal in three league matches this month.

Links faces strong competition from FC Midtjylland duo of defender Victor Bak and midfielder Aral Simsir.

Notably, the 27-year-old, along with the Midtjylland players, has also been included in matchday 21 team of the week, as he scored in AGF's thumping 5-2 win against Viborg over the weekend.

With AGF two points clear at the summit of the Danish topflight standings, Links has been instrumental with three goals and five assists while operating as a left wing-back.

Links will be hoping to earn a call-up to the Bafana Bafana squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, having been snubbed for the 2025 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) team.

He has five caps to his name since making his debut in June 2018, with his last appearance dating back to September 2021.
