Godo brace powers Strasbourg in Lille | OneFootball

Strasbourg beat Lille 4-1 at the Decathlon Arena on Sunday to stay seventh in Ligue 1, while the hosts remain fifth.

In the 25th minute Joaquín Panichelli steered in Guéla Doué's cross to open the scoring. Moments later, Julio Enciso doubled the lead with a firm finish from the centre of the box (26.).

Mike Penders kept Lille at bay before the interval with smart stops, and his handling steadied Le Racing as the hosts chased a response.

After the restart, Diego Moreira squared for Martial Godo to tap in a third (58.). Godo then swept in a cross from Enciso for the fourth (72.).

Matías Fernández pulled one back for Lille in the third minute of second half stoppage time, converting after a pass from Marius Broholm.

Le Racing posted 53.4% possession and registered 15 attempts, making six on target count. Lille mustered 20 attempts and eight corners but struggled for accuracy.
