Former Manchester United player and now fan Paul Scholes has predicted how he thinks Alejandro Garnacho will do at Chelsea.

Scholes has always had a bit of a controversial opinion since retiring from the game and becoming a pundit, to say the least. He clearly does not like Chelsea much and he makes that pretty obvious with many comments he has said lately.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea tried to sign Wolves striker on deadline day!!

Scholes goes on The Overlap show with Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, two other former players turned pundits who just clearly hate Chelsea. So much biased opinions amongst football pundits in the mainstream these days, it’s just madness.

Anyway, Scholes has actually said something that Chelsea fans will be pleased to hear come out of his mouth for once. He thinks new signing Garnacho will do well at Chelsea after making the switch from his beloved United this summer.

It’s rare to hear this kind of thing from Scholes, but he also cannot help himself from taking another little dig at the end. But I guess that bit is just a little banter.

As cited on SPTC today, Scholes said on Garnacho to Chelsea:

“Chelsea are almost the best of the rest under the top two or three (teams) and they needed investment in the right areas.

“I think he will be good for you… I don’t think he will be disruptive (in the Chelsea squad). I hope he is! But I don’t think he will.”

No drama please

Chelsea fans, who on the whole have never been that convinced on signing Garnacho, will be hoping that he does not bring any drama with him and stays out of the headlines unless for all the right reasons.
