Leeds United host title-chasing Manchester City at 5.30pm on Saturday, with several key returns for the hosts and mixed news for the visitors.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Pascal Struijk and Anton Stach are back from hip injuries. Both started at Aston Villa, where Stach scored a free-kick and played 83 minutes.
Dan James resumed training last week and was an unused substitute at Villa, following a hamstring tendon lay-off and recent back pain that ruled him out at Birmingham City. Gabi Gudmundsson has recovered from the illness that forced his half-time withdrawal in the 1-1 draw at Aston Villa.
For City, Jeremy Doku trained on Thursday for the first time since a calf injury against Galatasaray in late January. His readiness is unclear, so he remains a significant doubt.
Savinho has also returned to contention, making the bench against Newcastle as an unused substitute after a quad issue suffered on New Year’s Day at Sunderland.
Leeds sit six points clear of the drop with 11 games left after that 1-1 at third-placed Aston Villa. City beat Newcastle 2-1 and could retain the title by winning every remaining fixture, with leaders Arsenal five points ahead, having played one more, and still to visit the Etihad.
