Milan reach an agreement with Lazio to sign center-back Gila for €30m including bonuses | OneFootball

Mario Gila will join to reinforce the backline of Milan as Gerry Cardinale continues to build Rúben Amorim‘s side.

After signing Gonçalo Ramos from PSG for the club record fee, Milan moved their attention towards getting a new center-back, as the defense last year showed there’s plenty of room for improvement.

The Rossoneri managed to secure one of the best defenders in Serie A: Mario Gila, who is ready to arrive from Lazio.

Milan managed to overcome strong interest from Napoli and Atalanta and beat them to Gila. As reported by Milannews.it, Pietro Balzano Prota and many others, an agreement was today reached between Milan and Lazio after a short round of negotiations: Milan will pay €30m including bonuses for him.

The 25-year-old will sign a contract worth €4.5m per season plus €1m in bonuses for 5 years. In addition to the former Real Madrid player, Amorim is expected to get another defender.
