Milan would go after Patrick Dorgu if they didn’t reach an agreement with Theo Hernandez and sold him next summer, while they are keen on Jordan Zemura for the deputy duties at left-back.

According to TuttoSport, the Lecce starlet is in pole position to succeed the Frenchman. The talks to renew his contract are stalling, and he’s showing signs of uneasiness. Napoli and Antonio Conte have openly started pursuing the budding star too. He has a €35M valuation and deep-pocketed suitors in the Premier League.

While Milan will have to wait for a chain of events to go after Dorgu, they have shortlisted Zemura for the upcoming transfer windows, Tuttomercatoweb relayed. They turned to Filippo Terracciano when they rested Theo Hernandez, but the youngster isn’t a pure option.

The Rossoneri have informed the camp of the Udinese defender of their interest, either for January or next summer. They’d like to sort of block him quickly and then decide when to onboard him. The two sides aren’t yet negotiating at this stage. He has scored once in 11 Serie A appearances while alternating with Hassane Kamara. He joined in a free transfer from Bournemouth in July 2023.

Our Take on Milan, Dorgu, and Zemura

The Lecce talent is more of a forward at this point, and the sides that really like him need to prepare their cheque pronto before a foreign powerhouse comes in with an over-the-top offer. The Udinese defender is just fine and has decent technique. The elephant in the room is obviously Hernandez’s future, which will dictate what caliber of player they’ll need.
