According to journalist Mario Cortegana, Jose Mourinho has initiated a comprehensive structural overhaul at Real Madrid by demanding exhaustive audits across multiple departments, triggering immediate internal shifts at the club.
The newly-appointed manager is actively seeking to identify operational failures from past campaigns while integrating his own specialised training methodologies.
Mourinho has requested detailed dossiers on various sectors, with a major focus directed toward the club’s youth academy.
The Portuguese tactician wants to identify high-potential academy profiles who can seamlessly transition into first-team training or provide immediate squad depth.

Additionally, these reports will dictate the club’s summer transfer strategy regarding youth loans and permanent player departures, allowing Mourinho to streamline the entire sporting structure.
Thiago Pitarch, who was one of the breakout stars for Real Madrid last season, is expected to continue in the first-team dynamics.
Meanwhile, as already reported, Castilla prodigy Cesar Palacios is also expected to take part in the first-team pre-season under Mourinho this summer. And based on the reports the manager has requested, more could join.
The managerial audit has already created a ripple effect within the club’s medical infrastructure, with Mourinho also asking for detailed reports and analysis on the club’s medical department after the plethora of injuries in the last couple of seasons.

The Portuguese tactician and his trusted backroom staff are specifically focusing on the physical and medical reports to analyse what went wrong with player fitness in recent seasons.
The objective is to combine Real Madrid’s existing successful protocols with Mourinho’s rigorous methods to maximise player availability.
First-team doctor Manuel Arroyo, who arrived only last year from Granada, has already departed the club. His exit marks the first major casualty in a series of expected internal changes sweeping through the Santiago Bernabeu medical staff and physical training teams.
There have been doubts about whether Antonio Pintus, the team’s fitness coach, will continue as part of Mourinho’s setup.
However, given that he is a trusted member of Florentino Perez’s circle, Pintus might end up remaining a part of the backroom staff.
