Remo bid for Grêmio left-back Mayk on loan at Novorizontino | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Remo have bid to sign left-back Mayk from Grêmio. A resolution is expected soon, with the transfer window for state competitions closing on Friday.

Mayk is on loan at Novorizontino until 10 July. To sell him before then, Grêmio would need to compensate the São Paulo club, with talks over offering a slice of any future sale as repayment.

His economic rights are currently shared by Grêmio and Guarani, from whom he was signed in 2024, and Novorizontino would be added to that split.

Grêmio are open to a sale because he would only return in July, when he could sign a pre-contract and leave for nothing. There is no plan to use him in Porto Alegre.

Mayk has been at Novorizontino since June last year and has made 33 appearances, with two assists and one goal against Corinthians, earning a place in this year’s Paulistão final.
