Roma ‘to consider’ move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra | OneFootball

Roma are weighing a surprise move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra as they look to strengthen out wide, according to VoceGialloRossa.

The Serie A club have identified RB Leipzig’s Antonio Nusa as their primary target, with interest also in Paris Saint-Germain youngster Ibrahim Mbaye.

After missing out on Mason Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville, Nusa is said to sit top of their list, though Adingra is admired within the Giallorossi hierarchy.

Adingra, formerly of Brighton and Hove Albion, joined Sunderland last summer. He registered one goal and one assist in 15 appearances in all competitions before spending the second half of the season on loan at Ligue 1 club Monaco.

His future on Wearside is uncertain and the report indicates Sunderland have set a valuation that, if met, would represent a profit on last summer’s deal.
