Roma ‘to consider’ move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra | OneFootball

VoceGialloRossa reports that Roma are weighing a move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra as a surprise option out wide.

The Serie A club are said to have prioritised RB Leipzig forward Antonio Nusa and are also showing interest in Paris Saint-Germain prospect Ibrahim Mbaye.

After missing out on Mason Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville, Nusa is viewed as the top target, while Adingra is understood to be admired within the Giallorossi hierarchy.

The former Brighton and Hove Albion winger joined the Black Cats last summer, scoring one goal and providing one assist in 15 appearances in all competitions before a loan to Monaco for the second half of the season.

His Sunderland future remains uncertain and the report values the Ivory Coast winger at around £30m, which would equate to about £9m profit if Roma meet the asking price.
